Just so we’re clear: I didn’t write he should have said it. I wrote that, if he wanted to say something, that’s what he would have said.

The Easter egg routine, the never taking questions, the restricting his testimony to his report - it’s birds of a feather with Comey’s legalism.

If the Republic is at stake, for goodness sakes, say something. (I don’t think it is, but that’s the line going round progressive circles)

We’ll see what Congress does.

 

He's a rulebook guy who followed said book from Day One until today. He may act differently as a private citizen than as a DOJ employee or he may not. But the report does speak for itself. It just speaks like lawyers do, not the fallen lawyers we call politicians. The one thing you could call Mueller is naive. He actually expected members of the political elite, the media and Congress especially, to read the damn report. He should have known better. Members of Congress, mostly but hardly all Republicans, had a vested interest in NOT knowing what was in it.
