I know this has been posted, but I swear, it must have just sailed by some of the people participating on this board.
One the first anniversary of the shooting deaths of the last five people on this list, our currrent president joked about getting rid of the media with Vladimir Putin.
I'm having a very hard time getting my head around the cruelty. The best way to describe how I am feeling and how I have felt since reading about this yesterday is a mixture of grief, sadness, and horror. Yesterday and today are the eleventh and twelfth days in my life I have cried for my country. We are supposed to be better than this. Our leaders are supposed to represent who we are at our best.

How can some of you support this person? How fucking evil do you have to be to shrug off what he's doing and how he represents us because you want to protect money that is not in any danger in the first place? Many of you who support Trump are parents? Do you think your children are going to be able to breathe, drink and eat your precious money when there isn't enough of any of the above to sustain their lives? He is venal and if the only reason you have for keeping him in the White House is your money, so are you. I thought y'all were smarter and had a stronger moral compass than the idiots who voted for him because they always vote red or he "says it like it is" or whatever bullshit mouthbreathing, booger-eating, hopeless, dickless, brainless products of married first cousins mumble to themselves when they tick the box in the booth.
