Basketball And Basketball Recruiting Beat Reporter For IU Site In Rivals Network

Sports reporter to primarily cover basketball and basketball recruiting at Indiana University for TheHoosier.com, the IU website in the Rivals network.

Duties include breaking and reporting news, writing articles, compiling analytical pieces, assisting with football and basketball game and press conference coverage, compiling notes, interacting on message boards, promoting the site through social media, producing a weekly podcast and appearing on radio shows to promote the site.

Requirements include previous newspaper or website writing experience, strong reporting skills, attention to detail and “bulldog” work ethic. Knowledge of and passion for IU basketball is a plus, but not a requirement.
