Here's how far out of the loop I've been: I had no idea before today that Fiona Hill was a Brit. Although the name Fiona should've been a dead giveaway.

Also discovered from her accent she's from the Norf.

    I didn't say that.

I found the "taxpayer-funded" idea kind of a kick, though. This is tax money! Yeah, it is. What are taxpayers getting out of that exchange?

I will be interested to see where Nunes goes after this epoch concludes.
Some of his fellow shock troops have actual life talents (not governance), so they'll be fine.
It'll be like a wildcat specialist trying to catch on with another team.

Ah, cute. It's public money. Guess I may have used a wrong word - or a word that doesn't work so well for you. Got it. Because you always have to parse something and highlight one tiny fucking thing because you're the smartest guy in the room.

What different does it make? ... I didn't personally get much from at least $3 trillion of what our Federal government spent this year. And that still has nothing to do with whether it would be an act of corruption if Donald Trump tried to divert any of that $3 trillion from where it was appropriated, in a scheme to leverage it for his own personal gain.

What difference does it make that it's taxpayer-funded? None in particular, save the idea that it's somehow more outrageous that aid taxpayers surely wouldn't care goes to Ukraine was being withheld because the ne'er-do-well son of the vice president was on the board of some foreign energy company he knew little about.

How tough would it be to beat Graham in SC? Seriously, don't you want a Senator who can stand on their own two feet and not need to ride someone's coattails to be significant? Hell, the junior Senator from SC Tim Scott - and any other number of Senators seem to get along fine without having to sully their dignity - and yet a guy who has 16 years in the Senate still seems to be the concierge for the GOP.
