Trump isn’t smart enough to come up the the 52 sites shot on his own. Which means that this is part of his overall PR strategy. Everything which he does degrades the goodwill of this country piece by piece.

No country is going to stand with us in this fight.

Trump has managed, with one impulsive act, to lose the Iraq war. We went in there on BS intel because GWB wanted to take out Saddam for attempting to assassinate GHWB. We broke it, we bought it, and we've spent the years since trying to build and support a democratic government. Iraq just voted to throw us out as well as forbidding us access to their roads and air space. We're totally unwelcome, pretty much across the board. Years and years of effort, of our blood and treasure, the sacrifices made by our troops and their families, all wasted.

He's also pissed away any chance that any of our allies will stand with us against Iran. They are now going to be more influential in the region than ever before. We lost a war that we weren't even aware had started yet, just that quickly. Their nuclear program is now completely unrestrained. They may have been evading and end running that treaty before, but at least it was there and there was a framework for monitoring them and limits on what they could do. All gone now.

He's a fucking idiot, and he endangers the entire world every day that he remains in office.
