Wondering if they’re waiting for official confirmation from the coroner.

In their defense, this isn't something you prepare for.

If we're talking about historical comparison for stories of this awful nature, I can't think of on-point examples. Roberto Clements, Payne Stewart and Dale Earnhardt were all active competitors at the time of their deaths. I've got to be missing somebody. (I'm talking about prominent, historically significant athletes here.)

Saw BRC on the red carpet and I’m not so sure you’d recognize him.

I just think that taking your kid to a game which you love and they are starting to enjoy has to be one of the best feelings in the world as a father. Their deaths would be tragic regardless, but am just thinking about how many times I have taken my kids to a hoops game (in a car granted) and talked to them before about what to do, watched the game and then driven home dissecting it.

    This.
The fact they died on the way to a young girls team basketball game is next-level sad.

There doesn't seem to be. Joe isn't mentioned in the coach's bio.

    Let’s address some of this.

Not my finest hour, especially as I found out after this post that other family members were on.

I’ve never understood helicopter flight and considered it an unnecessary risk and I’ve flown small airplanes.

On gambling and threads, it’s a good day to take the under as players are distracted and that affects shooting.

With that, I’m out. Thank you SJ for a great run. I’ll miss you, playthrough and Donny

Not sports, but Kurt Cobain is the one that comes to mind for me in terms of shock value
