New York gets its first case. Manhattan. There will be Kale shortages at Whole Foods.

Seriously though, there will be some serious grocery store runs, I think.

So, I’m heading off to the biggest fishing tournament in the world. About 100,000 people will come through the fan expo in Birmingham. Because of this, I think I’m the clubhouse leader to be the first SJer to get coronavirus.

I hit Publix tonight. Zero indication of any shortages. Bought some extra canned goods that were on BOGO, big bag of rice, some pasta. It's all stuff we'll use anyhow. Just squirreling some extras in the pantry just in case.

 

Two more possible cases from that trip. My niece goes to that school - she wasn't on that trip, but two of her friends were. School closed for two days for cleanup, and the girls' basketball team postponed a playoff game.

 

There's one case in Manatee County, as of today. I might be the leader in the clubhouse (or retirement community).

 

I'm heading to Las Vegas on Friday the 13th. For a week.
