Worth noting Italy has indeed quarantined the entire country. So have Denmark and Norway. Two weeks ago, Italy had fewer reported Covid-19 cases than the US does now. There's also the matter of people voting with their feet. My wife went into Bed, Bath and Beyond today to do shopping for some damn thing. She saw the store was kind of crowded, turned and walked away. She's not alone.
