Do you realize that the margin of victory in 8 "Trumpist" or "Democratic" states was less than 3 percent? Do you realize that many of the states you deride as "Trumpist" had as many as 47.6 percent of its voters pulling the lever for the Democratic candidate?

 

The same thing goes for the Clinton states. Trump got millions of votes in California.

 

Right. Which is why it's nuts to label entire states (except Alabama, of course ).

Seems reasonable, though Wisconsin isn't enough to account for the differences. Maybe we're using different population years, or maybe I have a mistake somewhere. I was thinking about breaking them into three groups, with swing/close states in the middle.

Agreed. To be fair, I hadn't been listening to that much of what she said, but she lost me with the passive-aggressive comment about the U.S. passing up South Korea in the number of people tested.
