how long before we get national testing for Covfefe-19?

 

It should be a national priority. Planning is essential. And there are two key factors that can't simply be assumed:
1) Will testing be sufficiently available?
2) Will Trumpist states do their part to stay at home? Or will their governors, fixated on fluffing their dear leader, give in to the militias?

 

Only after we start gulping down hamberders and chasing 'em with bleach.

I wonder if we have troll farms that flood russian social media with the message: “covid-19 is a hoax. More people die falling out of windows than covid-19.”

 

Italy's government has announced a four week reopen in stages plan to go from May 4 to June 1. By the last stage, bars and restaurants will be allowed to reopen. BUT, social distancing (1.5 meters is their standard) must take place at all times and businesses must take employee temperatures, daily I think. Italy is like a month ahead of us on the virus curve and no one could deny it was hit very very hard, so it is possible, with luck and a little more patience, that the US could be "reopened" by the 4th of July or so. How many people will go to places that're open remains a, well, open question.

I wouldn't work a hospital job involving coronavirus without PPE either. Then again, I wouldn't get killed for saying so.
