If a Bernie Bro and a libertarian were drowning in a lake and you could only save one, what television show would you watch when you walked home instead?

Until he's running against Don Jr. in four years. Then she will be at rallies talking about the size of his cock compared to Don Jr.

Unless, of course, she latched on to another rising political star/power player at that point.

    Let's talk about Biden.

Believe the accusation. Investigate and test the claim.

That morally inert Republicans couldn't rouse themselves to abandon pussy-grabbing candidate Trump means very little. The GOP is a sewer.

I'd be perfectly happy if the Democrats pitched old Joe over the side, and brokered a candidacy at the convention.

    1. This will never happen.
    2. If it did, Trump would win in a walk. This would split the party irrevocably, because Bernie's people would noisily denounce the new candidate, who would never be him, every day until Election Day.
    3. Sad but true. Non-resigned nor convicted President Bill Clinton and Supreme Court Justices Thomas and Kavanaugh indicate that there is little if any political price for issuing a denial of the charges and sticking with it.

problem is that Americans are stupid and either need a personality or a known name. Unless you’re convincing Cuomo to run, which would be terrible optics, who are you getting that’s going to energize voters? For whatever reason, voters are comfortable with this guy.

Barack Obama wasn't a known name.

Overcoming others who have name recognition is a very difficult thing to do, but a lot of factors seem to contribute to who gets through to the nomination. It isn't just one thing, it's more about where the country is at the moment and what it is coming off of.

For a country built on distancing itself from monarchies we sure do like dynasties.

Adamses, Tafts, Roosevelts, Kennedys, Bushes, Clintons, Cuomos, Daleys . . . and maybe another Obama for VP.

This is correct. It's worth remembering how Bill Clinton was considered a big underdog when he announced his candidacy. Everyone thought Cuomo's dad would get it, but he never ran. Going back aways, I have a good friend who in the summer/fall of 1975 was a Cambridge cabby. One day I ran into him after work and he said he'd spent the day driving a man around from nice house to nice house in Cambridge. "The guy said he was running for President." I naturally asked "who?" Reply was "I forget the name. Some guy from Georgia."
