We were discussing the incident in the grocery store, not the one in Central Park.

That is all fair. I can certainly see the argument that the people in that grocery store were a little too aggressive, too, but we should be able to speak out when people are behaving in an unsafe manner.

Thank you. So much is happening right now, it is easy to become confused.

No, I get it. Very well could. If I had to bet money, I'd say it wouldn't have happened, but I get it.

    I don't know the answers.

I know one thing - apparently I don't have an affinity for restaurants, because I have zero desire to get back out to a restaurant. And this virus has practically revitalized my work life. I spent so much time on the freeways, I am embarrassed to write it here. I love working from home, or if I come in, it is a breeze. I frigging love this time.

I did notice that I think Memorial Day weekend was the first weekend of the NCAA baseball tournament. I loved the ESPN wraparound coverage. I missed that more than restaurants.

Memorial Day is the lacrosse title and the baseball selection show. I have never missed them more.

Do CNN and MSNBC need to show Cuomo’s daily briefing anymore?

To that I totally agree. Speak out. Speak up. I just don't think going from 0-100 right out of the gate on the shout meter is helpful in most situations because when the person getting shouted at starts feeling threatened, things can turn ugly. We didn't see the whole thing, and maybe it actually started out more calmly.

There are two reasons for running the mask-less person out of the store.

    1. You want him to change his behavior and put on a mask.
    2. You want him away from you because you feel he is a danger to you.

I think we can agree 1. is a "no fucking way is that going to happen."

That leaves 2. Now, I'm no epidemiologist, but it seems that confronting the person with loud voices going back and forth is going to place you at higher risk than just backing away and keeping as great a distance as possible.
