This is a shocker

 

I decided to see how Fox and Friends handled Mattis. To Fox's credit, they put it and Esper right out there.
The three talking heads of the show tried to spin it, but the actual reporter telling the story told it straight.
The 7 a.m. hour did lead with "police ambushed" and "insurgency" stories but then went into Mattis.
Could we be seeing a swing?

 

That seems ... a bit optimistic.

 

The Murdoch empire has been known to hedge its bets, as it did with Tony Blair in Great Britain in 1997. Besides, "the world is coming to get you, old white people" works better as a message when Democrats are in the White House. If you're selling paranoia, attack is always preferable to paeans to the Leader. Fox won't abandon Trump, but it might lower the propaganda content to 22 or 23 hours a day. He'll notice.

 

So how does that work if you get, say, four months of severance but after a month or two find part-time work?

What, if anything, can you file for when those four months are up if you're working part-time?

And my place always pays severance in a lump sum (with a grossly high percentage of taxes taken out, because the income is classified in a different way). Your "four months" is never really four months of salary. Closer to 2.5.

That some of the forces in dc have removed or covered identification on their uniforms would usually be a cause for concern. Now they are essentially Donald’s private enforcers.
