Alabama had five, Georgia had four. Both pulled those players and kept going.

The difference was Houston didn't test when they arrived, see the results and then pull them. They only tested if they were showing symptoms, so they have no idea who has it.

I still want to know what happens if/when somebody tests positive the day after a game. This will provide an interesting and potentially valuable use of coaches' films, which between them may be able to identify everybody who butted heads with the infected player during the game. But what do you do then? This is from Harvard, which, of course, is one of those damned libruhl places and isn't in the SEC, but maybe it's worth examining:

If you get the nasal/throat swab or saliva test, you will get a false negative test result:

    • 100% of the time on the day you are exposed to the virus. (There are so few viral particles in your nose or saliva so soon after infection that the test cannot detect them.)
    • About 40% of the time if you are tested four days after exposure to the virus.
    • About 20% of the time if you develop symptoms and are tested three days after those symptoms started.
This possibility of a false negative test result is why anyone who has symptoms that could be due to COVID-19, or has been exposed to someone known to be infected, must isolate even if they test negative for coronavirus.

The blood antibody test does not become positive (or might never be positive in some people) until many days after exposure, and is therefore not the primary test used for diagnosis. It is very useful for research and public health decision making.

Wasn't he one of the players attending big house parties a few weeks ago?

People suddenly realizing that COVID doesn't read the papers, invest in stocks or play fantasy sports.

Some are. Some are still very much in denial that it even exists outside of the media.

Just like everyone else, COVID doesn't give a fuck about your fantasy team.

His agent confirmed the story to a reporter, and now Zeke is saying he didn't, that a healthcare professional leaked it. Stay in school, kids. Also, don't grow up to a piece of shit like this guy. If he's not fondling women on floats, he's getting in altercations involving police at music festivals, or wearing a cutoff T-shirt because he thinks it's the 1980s.

San Francisco approves PGA at Harding Park in August ... without fans, per SF Chronicle.

Makes sense since California is trending up. But there will be fans at the Memorial three weeks before that. The Minnesota event the next week announced no fans. There's a WGC the next week in Memphis before the PGA.

Not the greatest of ways for the first PGA west of the Central time zone in 22 years, but hey, at least it will be held.

But, just like with the U.S. Opens at Torrey Pines and Pebble Beach, late holes in prime time.
