Live by the virus denial... I wish people wouldn't be so thick about it.

That's awesome he did that for you. If you get stuck again (and the manager can't put them aside for you again), I just ordered some Clorox wipes from Amazon. I was shocked they were there. For a time, you would have better luck getting TP, paper towels and wipes from a guy in a back alley than trying Amazon. Got my wipes with a two-day turnaround. TP will be here in a couple of days (Granted the store has been fully stocked, but they had larger packs than I can find at the store and TP is one of those things I just want to be sure I won't have to worry about trying to find in a pinch.

 

One of my dogs has been sick for almost two weeks. My local, regular vet allows one owner to accompany a pet in the examination room. However, the specialist and emergency vets send a tech out to take information, take the dog in, then the vet calls to explain.

I sat outside the emergency vet from 11 pm - 2 am last night. While it wasn’t fun, the bad part is that I don’t think my dog is getting the best possible care - not bad care but not the best- because there is no discussion with the vet. I can’t add information or explain something I forgot to tell the tech. It’s hard to ask questions. This is all more important with someone like the specialists and emergency vets, who don’t know my dog.

I am sure this is slowing down finding out what’s wrong with my dog.

Sorry I missed your question earlier. It's for a listing of feel-good stuff for people to watch. There are different categories and I was tapped to watch samples from nominated creators who just talk about what they like. Will this site thingy actually come to pass? I have no idea. "I have a scathingly good idea! Let's make some costumes and..." used to be where the stick hit the puck and the internet magic happened. From my perspective, it's paying it forward.

 

My heart goes out to you. I know what it's like to sit waiting for a pet in the emergency vet. I can't imagine going through that and not having a chance to be there with him or talk to the vet. My best to your dog.

 

I feel for you and I went to the vet when this all began because something was wrong with my cat. They asked for my number so they could consult with me via phone while Banner was inside. If you go back, ask if whoever takes your pet will take your number down so you can talk to them about things over the phone. Maybe they just hadn't thought of it.

 

It's an indescribable feeling, that first time you hold 'em. Congrats.
