That's what their government has told regular tourists as well.

Buffalo would make the most sense geographically, and they already have their Triple-A team there.

The lights in Buffalo are not up to big-league standards. It's a great minor-league ballpark otherwise.

Additional temporary lights would be easy to install. Especially with no seating areas to disrupt.

If there will be no fans there, why does it matter what time the games are played? Just go full Wrigley Field and play day games. Would give the furloughed something to watch in the afternoons.

    This is a good point.

I think if MLB is going to do this it might as well get creative, and more accommodating, with start times.

The summer I had mono as a kid, I don't know what I would have done without afternoon Cubs baseball. I really don't. That summer was 1984.

Night games draw better television ratings. And temporary lights were installed at college football stadiums in order to upgrade the lighting for night television games. The engineers should be able to do the same in Buffalo.

Certainly was a good summer to become a Cubs fans.

Then there was what happened after the Cubs went up 2-0 on the Padres. Those were good games to be a White Sox fan! :D
