Chef, no one is attacking you here. I'm genuinely curious. What is the reasoning behind taking this stand? Do you live alone? Are you never around members of your family who are seniors and thus more vulnerable?

Is this measured? (As in measure twice, cut once.)

I'm absolutely sure that the worst Publix is still 10x better than the best Winn-Dixie -- and I mean anytime, not just "during these challenging times."

Every time I go in there the shopping carts have been disinfected. There are sanitizer wipes available. All employees are masked. Cashiers up front grab sanitizer and clean when not busy, to include things like the handles of the drink coolers, not just their checkout lane. And they don't let people in without a mask on.

    Honest question.......
How many of you have worn a mask before Corona-virus for fear of catching the flu?

This thing turns your lungs into moist cardboard - if you don't want to wear it then don't.

But it ought to be codified in law that you go to the very back of the line when the vaccine arrives.

Yes, people realize COVID is the same as the common flu like an AMTRAK train is the same as kid's bike. Do a bit more research and see how COVID attacks and takes over your cells and your immune system. Its way beyond anything that the yearly common flu does. Is it a virus, yes, but would you say Ebola was the same as the common flu?? NO.
