It is so infuriating that this shit has started up again. I'm on a diet from Facebook right now because I completely went bananas on someone who posted that lizard-loving doctor video. You guys think I'm mean to BTE and Alma. I think even our newest Troll would not have said I made a good point.

 

Can't remember which thread I mentioned it on, but I've gone from nonengagement to unfriending these dodos on Facebook. Just don't have the time or patience to deal with their bullshit any more.

 

It's remarkable; so many people I would have otherwise thought had a degree of critical thinking skills have posted on FB basically, "Ok, put aside all the batshit crazy beliefs; what if she happens to be right on the HCQ-based formula to cure COVID?" Well, what if I have the right ingredients in my kitchen to cure it too, by that logic? Look, if you want to test her formula, go right ahead and put it through the process of clinical trials and see what the results are; that's great. But in the meantime, she's saying to millions of people that because of her purported 'cure' that they have no more need of masks, and they in turn recirculate this on their own FB pages--that's where it goes from being harmless nonsense to something worse.

 

I have a quasi-friend, lives close to me, who is not a doctor but a fully licensed ARPN or something? She spent the last months administering covid andantibody tests. She has a thriving home practice. She reposted that video yesterday and said that she believes it. How the f***? I've occasionally asked her medical questions but I don't trust her judgment anymore.

 

But only a couple of percent die, so no worries, right?
