Don't blame science either. A lot science didn't know, and there's certain biases American science brings to the table - for example, that American people are stupid intellectually and morally, and don't know when they're being talked down to - that remain hard to overcome. (Moralism and preachiness is a American thing, not a science thing. But all we Americans struggle with it.)

So one of you two is The Mooch and the other is Steve Bannon?

I don't take it that seriously and I don't want to relitigate it. But Pence didn't wish more people had died, and that's a key, disgusting leap some made.

American science doesn't bring that to the table. It brings information that too many people choose to ignore or misinterpret which leads to face palming and re-explaining.

Americans in general bring that to the table. The objectivity of science does not easily resist it.

But I will add this: American culture judges imperfection too harshly, too. So when scientists are wrong sometimes - and, because they're human, they will be - they are judged as bad people with wicked intentions, when they shouldn't be.

Science is concerned with knowledge of the natural world using an evidence-based approach.

When it became evident that masks stop the transmission of this respiratory illness, anyone interested in science (not a narrative about science) started to wear a mask when they were in public.

Get on the same page man. When he's just ignored, the troll goes away for a few days.

That is a very good point.

Jerry's incessant trolling inspired me to use the "ignore" feature for the first time several weeks back. Gotta say, it's kinda humorous seeing the shadows of his posts I'm clearly missing (or not) here.

That dipshit friend of mine who keeps calling the governor of Rhode Island the "wicked witch " said Trump screwed up in the beginning and the governors like Whitmer and Raimondo screwed up by keeping things closed for no good reason.

Only one of those things can be true. They both cannot be.
