My theory with the Hunter Biden stuff is Trump/Bannon had the hard drive all along as their October surprise Trump card, but Trump couldn't keep his damn mouth shut. Not only ruined the surprise, but ensured that most of the general public would tune out anything related to Hunter Biden by the time October rolled around, and that the non-partisan media would treat this with the maximum degree of skepticism. I think this was Trump's grand finale. Fitting that it ends up getting buried by the sheer magnitude of the shit show he's created. The only people talking about this are Trump die-hards, politicos, and media navel-gazers.
