I think more Claycists will be upset if Local SEC team loses on Saturday, than Trump losing on a Tuesday. Travis will still poke at athletes expressing liberal beliefs or supporting Dems, but the whole thing comes off as Nixon showing up at the Grand Ole Opry hip deep in Watergate.

You can have the greatest resume on earth. You can have accolades out the ass and more decorations than a Christmas tree. You can have more career wins than Nick Saban.

But if they don’t like you, it’s moot. This is a likability game. Karl Rove spent the entire 2004 election convincing us to vote for Bush because he’s someone you’d want to have a beer with for crissakes. The fact that Hillary never got this shows what a shit candidate she was. If she would have realized and accepted ( key thing here) that she was an opening act and not a headliner, we probably are talking about the re-election of President Biden right now. A lot of us are probably sleeping better too.

Clinton is a far better presidential candidate than Biden. He would have been crushed in 2016.

if not for the virus, he’d be losing this election, too. Against the devil.

    Sure.
Biden wins popular vote easily, then based on voting results wins enough states to claim an Electoral College victory.
Republicans, in turn, fire up the Brooks Brothers Brigade and file legal challenges in every toss-up state Biden won.
Challenges get fast-tracked to the Supreme Court where Justice Amy Coney Barrett is the swing vote on a 5-4 decision that says Biden's winning votes can't be counted, and that puts Trump in for a second term.
    Or does it?
Does President-elect Biden concede the election or does he fight?
The media wing that supports Trump will demand he step aside. The Supreme Court has spoken. Not really though, One person, picked by Trump for the specific purpose of ruling in his favor in the case of this eventuality, has spoken.

And, this might all be happening against the backdrop of a burning America as supporters of Biden and Trump battle it out on the streets.

Fun fact: The "nightmare scenario" of a tie EC vote? Wouldn't be possible if the dummasses made sure to keep the count at an odd number back when it was adjusted in '64. Instead when DC was allowed EC votes, the were limited to three because they couldn't have more than Wyoming. And Wyoming went for LBJ back then as well. How about we add one EC vote for the popular vote winner.

Has Amy Coney Island decided on dinner? I understand she refuses to tell the server her order.
