If the Republicans run Trump again, it would be the definition of insanity. Unless he has a conversion not seen since Yukon Cornelius and Herbie performed oral surgery on the Abominable.

Trump is going to spend the rest of the natural life, of which there is not much, running from the law.

He won't run far. The U.S. Marshals will be waiting for him at AF1 on the tarmac on the day of glory.

Yeah, but 100 % he floats the idea every few months until his death.

I think Joe is pretty good for 78, and I've spent a good part of my life around that age group.

    Completely agree with 3_Octave_Fart.

If elected, Biden will be 78 on Inauguration Day, crushing the record of Donnie (70), Ronnie (69) and W.H. Harrison (68). I can't find the specific cognitive aging study, but my father-in-law (and my PCP) quoted 80 as the beginning point where doctors start seeing cognitive abilities change from a slight downward trend to a steeper one.

That's obviously a generalization, but Biden seems more "there" than the two other old guys on the list, particularly the whack-a-doodle-doo occupying the White House. And Reagan lived another 15 years, although "quality of life" might be debatable. Harrison? Not so much. But that's why you have Kamala Harris instead of Elizabeth Warren on the ticket.
