I find liberal defeatism as unbecoming as anything the Republicans do in Congress.

I’d hope Republicans adhered to standards, too, to be honest. I don’t expect it. I don’t expect it from the Democrats either.

 

Sounds right. There’s a religious zeal to the Democratic Party at this point.

And the dire warnings of Antifa and BLM invading the suburbs just haven't happened. They're still frisky in Portland and Seattle, but really nothing else.

 

I don't doubt there is some part of WokeTwitter that really doesn't want to win, just so it can continue being seen doing the righteous thing.

Like I suspect some Red Sox fans had more fun with navel-gazing (and the persecution complex that so often occasions it) rather than winning three titles in 10 years.
