Andre “Red Light” Racicot was a savage handle for a goalie. I believe it was imposed by fans and media, not his teammates.

    Pittsburgh division, Part Deux.

Mario Lemieux had a couple of them, "Super Mario" and "Le Magnifique."

    Bill "Mad Dog" Madlock
    Bill Cowher "The Chin"
    Casey Hampton "Big Snack"
    James Harrison "Deebo"
    Kordell "Slash" Stewart
    Walter Andrew "Bubby" Brister, III

Somebody already mentioned Jerome "The Bus" Bettis, right?

Taking it back outside of Pittsburgh, I had forgotten about Claude "Pepe" Lemieux.

One of the funniest lines I've ever seen, from Mike Downey: "When Ron Darling and Rob Deer talk on the phone, I'll bet they address each other by their first names."

This reminds me of Kim King, "The Young Lefthander." Georgia Tech play-by-play man called him that when he played quarterback for Tech in the 1960s, and continued calling him that through almost through more than 20 years as Ciraldo's color analyst. King was "The Young Lefthander" right up until he died at age 59.

When God made Man, He made him outta string. He had a little left, so He made that little thing. When God made Woman, He made her outta lace. He didn't have enough, so He left that little space. Thank you, God!

Somebody needs to explain to me why the hell that movie isn't on HBO Max.
