After the 2000 shit show, most states started moving to electronic voting.
I hope this ushers in some new technology that doesn't require all this delay.*

*If I had the slightest idea what that would be, I'd invent it and cash in, but my goodness, there has to be a better way in 2020 and beyond.

 

Some of these delays are normal, but we don't notice because states are called earlier. Everybody is being super squeamish about making calls this time around.

1. I worked yesterday, but we had no students.
2. The computer program we use now grades stuff as soon as the student hits submit, and prior to that, the method Scantron machine graded bubble sheets in seconds. We can do this.
