South Dakota, pop. 880,000, had 14 deaths yesterday and almost 900 positive cases. That would (roughly) translate to 616 deaths and 39,600 cases in California, which is roughly 44 times bigger. The day before Pennington County (Rapid City), pop. 113,000, had 10 deaths.

But South Dakota's governor lets them wear their Freedum Pants.
