Leave the police out of it entirely. Focus on all the cool new shit you're going to give communities like a phone number they can call to get a mental health advocate out to see someone who needs it.

Then quietly take it all out of the police budget.

It’s crazy that people would think “defund the police” meant “defund the police”!

    I am joking!

If a teacher punches a kid in the crotch and another teachers sees it, we expect the viewing teacher to report it and the dick puncher to be fired.

If a cop punches a person in the crotch and another cop sees it, we just say blue lives matter.

If a good police officer would report bad officers, which I think are only about 10% of all police officers once you start enforcing rules, then 99% of this shit goes away. And an outside committee reviews police officers. The fox cannot watch the hen house.

Do they? I don't follow them. If they do, ok. But they're representatives, why would that influence people voting outside their district or outside their state. The socialism idea was an effective one tossed around by the Republicans. It was the fact that the Democrats just sort of waved it away and didn't actively campaign against the idea is what hurt them. They let the Republicans define the narrative, which I think is the biggest problem the Democrats have.

You need to be working for the Democratic Party.

Even the R's might be able to appreciate the quiet ruthlessness of that.

They should just say they will duplicate the government's policies towards farmers towards their own constituents. Because our agricultural policies aren't socialism, uh-uh.
