Having never been in any of these type positions, I don't get the whole "forced to resign" thing.
I'm hard headed enough to say no, you publicly fire me, and then I do the TV circuit to say why.
What is there to be gained by resigning vs. being fired? You are still out of a job. It's not like either one is going to impact your future employment opportunities. In fact, to be publicly fired by this administration would probably enhance offers.

 

i'd guess it's a severance package / benefits thing. again, guess.

 

Forced resignation is an oxymoron. It's a firing. And Trump is simply a moron.
