Former Arkansas quarterback Gary “Peanut” Adams is a Secret Service agent now. After graduating from Arkansas in the early 90s, he was a state trooper on the governor’s security detail and then became an agent.

I believe he’s assigned to George W. Bush’s detail and if an enterprising ESPN or Athletic or SI writer put in some effort, he could be a helluva story.

You say that like it's a witty quip instead of a complete indictment of our society's values

They have on my wife's '13. Next service I'm going to demand they be cleaned or replaced, for free. Safety factor. My demands to Lexus usually are followed by laughter by the service rep, head shaking, and me leaving pissed off.
Previously, the wife went for service and called me to say it needs tires. 30,000 miles and needs tires? OK, if you need them you need them. Can't mess around with tires. When I went to pick her up, I got the service rep and told him that tires get 60,000-70,000 miles. Why are Lexus factory tires wearing out at 30,000? He said when the cars are new, they put the softest tires available on them so the ride is as smooth as it can be for test drives. I told him the salesman never said anything about that. If we had known, we would have asked to swap out for better tires. Shrug, it is what is is.

Cadillac did this in the 90s too. My mom bought a 1996 Sedan Deville in 1997 and needed new tires by the end of the year with about 30,000 miles on the car.

Speaking of 80s bands...I'm sure I still have a "Vital Signs" cassette around the house somewhere that I listened to way too many times back in the day.

Someone should let Trump know that he's received more votes than any incumbent President ever...maybe that will be enough to feed his narcissism.

When January 21 is over he’ll be as relevant as Snookie and Paulie D, two other degenerates from the Jerzy Shore

This just makes me sad to my core. I mean, it really does.

    Sometimes it works both ways.

Why would they do it for free? Seems like a regular maintenance thing that just has to be done every so often.

Regarding the soft tires, reminds me of something I read on an AVC website about choosing a TV. Said all the TVs in big box stores are set to what they call "torch mode" (as opposed to "movie," "pro," etc., to make them seem as bright as possible for people browsing. A mode you would never want your TV to run on at home.
