    I just heard a segment regarding this on NPR, and Biden seems to have said contradictory things about this, some of which don't jibe with his published platform. It gets into private vs. federal school loans, size of the loan, etc. The person interviewed felt that it would be more like $10k.

    Trump's egregious pardons probably didn't move many people to vote against him, but they are so indicative of what a scumball he is.

    In accepting a pardon, doesn’t a convict waive their Fifth Amendment rights, since they can not self-incriminate? In other words, if Flynn were called before Congress, wouldn’t he be compelled to answer all questions because he can not invoke his Fifth Amendment rights? And, given that he’d be doing so under oath, he’d risk new perjury charges if he lied.

    He pled guilty, jeopardy attached. No 5th amendment anyway because of double jeopardy
