Somebody tell this dude that November has 30 days and that the search in question was nine days long rather than 10.

Harsin's not an SEC boy. He starts with one factor against him.

Not for me. He was on my local sports radio station this morning. so very proud of the SEC for overcoming all obstacles to play 97% of their scheduled games. He thinks that since this year's Alabama team won an unprecedented eleven SEC games it might be the best team of all time. He's at Disney with his family and was trumpeting about how safe that was, too.

After a 2-7 season in Dave Aranda's first year, Baylor has parted ways with OC Larry Fedora and passing game coordinator Jorge Munoz.

I've mentioned this before - but my goodness my heart goes out to the wives and the kids of the coaches this time of year. Christmas, dad getting bounced, family getting moved, dad getting a better job, family getting moved. Throw in recruiting. I really don't know how coaching families do it with all the craziness going on - particularly this season. I do wonder if Dad confiscates all of the "old" team t-shirts and apparel from his kids when a move is made, up or down.

Fisch is an odd hire - odder than Herm at ASU? I don't know. Seems to have made a career out of working for coaches who end up on the street (Jim L. Mora, Hoke, Gus Bradley) How do you not kick the tires on Brennan at SJSU? or Moorhead at Oregon?
