Have there been similar side effects in both vaccines, Moderna and Pfizer? Which one did you get?

I got Moderna. Others I have talked to had various symptoms but milder. It was mainly limited to sore arm and slight headache. I'm sure I got the whammy because of the COVID in me from being positive already.

It sounds to me that, based on the storage requirements, most of the Pfizer vaccines have been going to health care workers so they can stay in close proximity to the super-freezers, whereas nursing homes and at-risk populations outside care settings have been getting Moderna's.

I went to get a test today, but couldn't get tested. I learned that I no longer have health insurance.

I was covered by my employer's plan last year and in November I filled out paperwork to be covered this year.

Yet today, when I arrived at the urgent care place, they told me I was no longer on that plan.

They needed $200 for a test.

I figured I'd rather go someplace else.

When I got home I sent an email to the HR department to find out what is going on.

Edit: someone from HR got back to me already. I am covered. I just haven't received the card yet.

I get ragging on Butters can be fun, but can we not do it on the Rona thread? His employment/lost a friend/car broke down thread, whatever. But can we at least call a truce on a guy worried about having the virus?

No one should have to pay a dime for a COVID test. Perhaps the latest relief package could’ve included a couple billion to pick up the tab.

I came out of the grocery store yesterday and there was what looked like a former taco truck outside with a sign that said "free COVID testing." I was not about to go into that thing.

Been dealing with a cold the past couple of days. Been damp, temperature changes, etc. Every time I sniffle or sneeze, I wonder: Am I SURE this is a cold?

Ella's frequent gas helps assure me I still have a good sense of smell.

That's kind of what I'm going through.
