Kornacki says most of the vote left is Cobb and DeKalb, with some Fulton and Gwinnett

When did Cobb County get blue-ish? When I was around those parts it was seriously Red.

Romney won by 12 in 2012.

Clinton won by two in 2016.

    It happened fast.

The great suburban-rural shift of the 2010s. Trump's legacy. The rurals went from red to holy-fuck-so-red, the suburbs turned blue.

The most important part is that by no longer having McConnell to run interference for them (and to be clear, McConnell can only do what he does because every single GOP senator wants him to do it), purple state R senators have to go on the record on lots of things they'd rather not go on the record for. Especially with 2022 being a bad map for them.

I don’t really watch MSNBC, but I am oddly amused by the Kornacki Cam.

He's not always right, but he's a stone expert at vote counting, and that's his catchphrase and brand in the business, so he doesn't say it lightly.
