McConnell takes a lot of shit here and deservedly so.

This speech is his finest hour.

He just blamed the media from the floor of the senate. Fuck the minority leader.

There is a long-game at play here. He’s still setting up the Democrats to be drunk with power and walk themselves into losing one of the chambers in two years.

The battle for Pelosi and Schumer will be staying popular once the pandemic is over and economic prosperity begins to return. They’ll have to tick to the center as well.
