I've been watching CNN for three hours now. There has been no mention of the IEDs found in DC. Was that just a rumor and not confirmed?

 

It happened:

An explosive device is found at the R.N.C., and the D.N.C. is evacuated.

 

MSNBC said two suspicious devices were found, but it wasn't clear if they were in fact bombs. They haven't said anything either.

 

If you are standing on the House floor telling people American elections are fraudulent, you are complicit with today’s rebellion, and you should just go ahead and leave the country.

 

And a duffel bag loaded with Molotov cocktails.

 

As I struggled to stay focused today on my weekly task of cramming calendar listings, bowling results and a VFW Auxiliary feature story onto news pages, one thought kept crossing my mind:

These are the actions of a dying movement, the desperate act of deplorable conspirators who are out of time, out of new ideas and new minds to infect. The last four years were their chance to ruin the future of our nation and they failed. Totally and completely.

As the Washington Post put it, today was a fitting legacy for Trump and his supporters: Chaos, stupidity and utter failure.

Of all these House Democrats standing and speaking, one needs to strongly point out that every Pennsylvania Republican who says “the election was fraudulent” is saying “I was sent to the House by a fraudulent election.”

Either the election was fraudulent and you have no right to your seat in the House, or it wasn’t.

 

How nice. Now to keep him on the shortest leash on social media.
