    Seriously, the response to that should be that Seattle and Portland didn't need to happen if there wasn't police brutality, specifically to members of a certain race. Meanwhile, the Trump Riot (tm) didn't need to happen if there wasn't Trump's stupidity. Let them whatabout that.

    I've had people argue with me that this was the gang that couldn't shoot straight, so how much of a threat really were they? Sorry, no, just because they were incompetent doesn't mean they lacked malicious intent (as proven by the cable ties, guns, pipe bombs, etc.) And an attempted coup is a lot like attempted murder. Just because they failed doesn't make it not a crime.
