I had to serve jury duty last year. This involved standing in a long line outside the county courthouse, then going through a metal detector and having my bag searched.

Why can't Congress do the same thing?

 

That's because you are criminals.

 

The one argument they do have is one of logistics. If they have 15 minutes to cast a vote but there's a line at the metal detector, that's a problem.

 

They actually do have a literal Constitutional right to be there.

 

When I was in HS 35 years ago we had to go through metal detectors to play most of our away hoops games. Not sure anyone bitching that it was constitutional violation. Nut up.

 

Nope.
He had the chance to really do something when he was put in charge. Did not have the guts to do it. Today's press conference (Azar and Redfield) is what they should have been like all along.
Did not wear a mask at all times, as the HEAD OF THE PANDEMIC TASK FORCE should. When you think of it...the head of a task force and he lets trump bully him into not wearing a mask. Sometimes, I just can't believe it.
And everyone remember when trump ran the bleeping press conferences? It is so bizarre to think of how the pandemic has played out. You expect things to go wrong, you just don't know what the details are going to be.
