Do those prospects really have higher upsides? Based on what I've read, none of them are top prospects. I'm not sure any of these new guys are better than the ones they got for Cole. You are correct in pointing that those weren't great prospects in the Cole deal, but nothing I've read indicates that the new arrivals are any better.

A 2021 seventh-ranked prospect could be 2024's second-ranked prospect as players mature through the farm.

I do like it better this way.

 

I guess Marcus Stroman wasn't the only Met who could unleash a high, hard one.

 

So there is a penalty for showing someone your Big Apples.

 

Just because they are younger and farther away from the majors doesn't make them better prospects.

 

And also for showing someone your Small Unit.
