Gasoline is currently $2.15 per gallon.

Interest rates are 2.9 percent for a 30 year mortgage.

The stock market closed at 31017 though we have been fighting COVID for 11 months.

Our GDP growth for the 3rd Qtr was 33.4 percent.

The U.S. had the best economy ever until COVID and it is recovering well.

We have not had any new wars or conflicts in the last 4 years.

North Korea has been under control and has not been testing any missiles.

ISIS has not been heard from for over 3 years.

Peace deals in the Middle East have been signed by 4 countries.

Unemployment sits at 6.7% in spite of COVID.

Hopefully they can get DeJoy out. More difficult, as I understand it, because it’s up to a Trump-filled board of directors.

As far as any Trump holdovers, it’ll hopefully be Jimmy cutting all connections after the Lufthansa heist (metaphorically, of course).

Maumann, I respect the heck out of you. Maybe more than anyone else on this board. However, your generalization i.e. "Nobody believes you. Nobody cares," is incorrect, IMHO. Peace, brother.

 

DeJoy's destruction is still being felt. I ordered a couple of really small things shortly after the holiday season. Both of them came in more than a week late.

That's the responsibility of USPS's rank and file. I have zero doubt that at least the massive majority of them - probably all of them - do what they can as best they can when they can. It's DeJoy and his enabling boss who have messed up the USPS. Needs to be gone yesterday ... with the understanding that the new person in charge will have a big mess to clean up, will have to order some sorter machines that DeJoy ordered destroyed/dismantled and will have to conduct numerous comprehensive efficiency and workflow studies to get USPS back to what it was.

Sadly, a microcosm of what you-know-who and his merry band of sabotaging destroyers left in their wake. There's a lot of work to do everywhere - probably more than any of us realize.
