He was silenced for substantial periods of time last year. And often when he did comment, he was muffled or handcuffed and could not tell the truth and contradict a president who suggest injecting bleach as a cure.

He's the top infectious virus expert in the government, who had quadruple the knowledge and credibility of Trump, Azar and their minions. We should have been hearing from him almost every day during a pandemic, don't you think?

Took you a day to revert to Fox talking points. Longer than I expected, to tell you the truth.

If a sealed indictment — state or federal — didn't drop at 12:01 p.m. yesterday, nobody did their homework and not a thing will happen. It's too late.

Trump got away with it, just like Man City and the Houston Astros did.

Fauci is the new Mueller. He's a competent man of integrity doing his job, but that has caused undue deification in an environment where those were rare.

To those triggered and troubled by Fauci, I have three words: Poor. President. Trump.
    Or
    Elections. Have. Consequences.
In this case, the consequences are good. We have a chance to defeat the virus. At least a better one than if the other guy had won. Now it's up to Trumpists to summon the courage to choose their own health and the health of their neighbors over their desire to derail a new administration's efforts. That doesn't seem like a tough call. Hmm. What should I do? Should I get vaccinated against a killer disease? Or should I stand for the principle of endangering myself and others just to own the libs?

In all fairness, Karl Rove was taking a long nap when we found out that there are good people on both sides and then the country erupted over all the black men being killed by cops, and then the Proud Boys learned that they should stand down and then the capital was stormed by people carrying confederate flags and wearing Camp Auschwitz shirts. So it's easy to understand why he'd be offended.

I'll say it again: The United States is not going to get into the business of jailing former presidents. It's just not a thing we're going to do.

    Somebody didn't pay his retainer.

    Oh, come on, man!

Mean thought for the day: Why do all of these moon-faced dead-eyed women attach themselves to the GOP?

With media relations skills like that, it's easy to see why that person is the communications director.

The way that she humiliated the firm when she appeared at his big press conference with the empty boxes and the blank sheets of paper and now they decide that enough is enough?
