In the 1960s the power structure was terrified of liberals taking over the country and enforcing commie socialist pinko reforms on American society and allowing hippies, neegros and wimmen to get social rights and all that stuff. In good order that was all taken care of in Dealey Plaza, the Audubon Ballroom, the Lorraine Motel and the Ambassador Hotel. So maybe there are other methods to get things done.
