Let’s not be too hard on Cruz for taking a family vacation at an inopportune time. The Jesus of of Republicans, Trump, would always take vacations during what used to be called a crisis. 400,000 Americans died and 23 million got sick and 40 million lost their income while Jesus trump played golf. The Republican controlled senate refused to vote on pending matters for months at a time, often so they could leave their daily jobs and have extended weekend or staycations. Not a single senator is from DC yet they all seem to stick around rather than go back to bumfuck Missouri or Arkanasas or Oklahoma

If you’re a multimillionaire CEO who gets million dollar bonuses after laying off thousands of people, the GOP says you’re a capitalist, greed is good and give that man a tax cut since it’s his own money anyways. If you have a college degree, make mid-five figures and point out that the CEO is a greedy prick, well, you’re just an elitist and you think you know better than anyone else.
