    I've loved Kansas football since I was a kid. My own damn fault.

    Going back to Bob Valesente in 1986, they swing back and forth between Nice Guy and Asshole. They hired two really good assholes, Mason and Mangino... and Mason was screwing a dentist and that had to stay hush-hush and Mangino yelled at a player and got fired.

    None of the nice guys worked out. Valesente, Allen, Gill, Beaty. Nope.

    The last two assholes didn't work out.
