I think it was a good signing, but you should temper expectations. I think he was a better fit in Pittsburgh than he will be in Tennessee. Dupree is a very good player, but he benefitted from having other outstanding pass rushers around him in Pittsburgh. The Titans don't have that. On the plus side, Dupree is a complete player. He can set the edge against the run and drop in coverage effectively as well as rush the passer.

There really hasn't been much news about the knee except what Dupree has put out there, so that may not be reliable. He tore his ACL pretty late in the season, Dec. 2, so he may not be at his best at the start of 2021. Dupree is a fantastic athlete when he is 100 percent, so some patience might be in order.

I would have loved to see the Steelers keep him, but they just didn't have the cap room and they think they have a viable replacement in Alex Highsmith. I wouldn't be surprised to see both Highsmith and Dupree play well, but leave their teams' fans a little disappointed.

  5. Price went up when Barett opted to stay with TB.

Dupree will be solid, not great. See Chad Brown, Levon Kirkland and a host of other defensive stars who let Pittsburgh and the scheme.
Dupree, like Schuster is a complimentary player, not a star in his own right.
    Hate to lose Fieler.

Feiler wasn't particularly good this past season. I still think they should have kept him at tackle. I'm guessing/hoping they can re-sign Banner and start him opposite Okorafor at tackle with Dotson and DeCastro at guard. The offensive line really has to be a focal point in the draft.

  7. I’ll take him over Villanueva.

Keeping Alualu has to be a priority, along with rebuilding the OL

I've been going on the assumption that both Villanueva and Feiler are going to be gone.

    No problem with Dupree leaving.

He was probably bullet point 4 or 5 when game planning against the Steeler D last year. They can win without him but they can’t win with that line and Connor.

They won exactly one game without him this past season. Losing Dupree wasn't the only reason the Steelers faltered late, but it was a big part of the problem.

Connor can easily be replaced, most RB’s can.
