Polling suggests Black objections to the vaccine are fading. Trumpist objection remains. This is why we must run through the tape. It is why a negative tone is not harmful to a country that needs to be reminded that the war is not yet won.

I "shelter" in many places, my friend.

I skimmed until I got to that point, then clicked the X in the upper right corner.

DeWine opened up eligibility to all over 16 in Ohio on Monday.

I logged on to my county's health department website yesterday to see if they had any availability, and two minutes later I was scheduled for Thursday afternoon. I'll be getting Moderna.

It'll be the first vaccination I've had since I was a toddler. I developed a bad rash to the MMR vaccine, and my parents were advised to not get me inoculated again. After talking it over with my doctor last summer in preparation for this exact moment, he said the rash I developed was very specific to MMR shot and I "should" be okay to receive other vaccines. Fingers crossed...

Neither Korean, nor Jewish chick, but halfway vaccinated with Moderna.

The local hospital organized a super simple process in the gym of the defunct D-III college.

Anyway, first jab in the arm done, second dose set for April 15. Can't say enough about how efficient the Richmond Raceway was. Showed up at 8:15 was out by 8:50 -- and that was with waiting in the car for 15 minutes. Incredibly well done.

I posted this before when I had my first shot, but the process at Worcester State University was hyperefficient. The shots and waiting area was in the gym, and you waited in your car until the time of your appointment group was posted on the football scoreboard message board. Very slick.

Remember to continue to mask - preferably double mask - and social distance. You may still be able to pass the virus to others. There are also several COVID 19 variants that you are less protected against.

I have not double masked once nor do I plan to. I have no choice but to continue to social distance because unlike a lot of states that have just opened 100 percent, mine continues to play this smart. Even if I'm inside, I'm not close to anyone. I've been going to the gym for 10 months (masked) with zero issues.

If you wear a mask correctly, you don't need to double mask.
