So we're believing Florida numbers now?

Until good news is reported, of course.

I believe them all the time.

Others believe them only when it suits them.

Right or wrong, at least I'm consistent.

 

When I heard about mRNA vaccines I knew it was just a matter of time. Sadly, 40 years late.

According to Bloomberg, more than 11.5 million doses were administered this Friday-Sunday. Impressive. We are getting there.

 

Trust the numbers, eh?

 

That’s a bizarre rise in deaths by unintentional injuries.

 

Not much to do last year but fire up the phone camera and declare “Hey, watch this.”

 

Texting and other phone distractions, I assume.

 

I got my first shot today. My shoulder really hurts, but otherwise I'm all right.

 

My honest math brain tells me COVID did cause a spike in deaths, but staying home sprinkled out another 100,000 or so deaths across the board.

But doing what has been done was worth that extra 100,000, because without a doubt, 300,000 turns into 600,000 or 900,000 thousand without us altering our lives.
