I stand to inherit a family farm that was first purchased by my great grandfather more than 100 years ago.
It won't scratch the surface of that multi-million dollar value, so I don't think I've got too much to worry about.
But you'd better believe I won't pay a dime more in taxes than I can avoid.

It’s always my first concern when talking about these changes. I’d vote for farm and small business exceptions for businesses that have operated for a certain number of years. I don’t want billionaires just buying farms as a tax dodge, but we also have to protect family farms.

 

That's a whole lotta extra effort to keep kids from majoring in journalism.

Just let us journalists talk them out of majoring in journalism!
