Which bathroom would Caitlyn Jenner be required to use at the Republican National Convention?

And workers are looking at those job offers and saying "no deal" and walking away. The fact that it is happening enough that employers are crabbing that "no one wants to work" indicates that it's happening far more often than in the past. You can blame unemployment checks, but I don't think that's the whole story.

Market price? How much would a car be worth if the car companies had to build the roads and highways rather than taxpayers? How much would it cost?

how much would food cost if the taxpayers didn’t subsidize crop insurance? If the taxpayers didn’t pay for colleges and universities to develop hybrid seeds and crops? If the taxpayers didn’t support price controls?

Alternative take: rich libertarians can get fucked. That seems to be polling around 65-70 percent now that the MAGA masses have figured out they can keep being socially reactionary without having to buy into all the florid economic lectures.

At the moment, you mean? Our government has put millions of people on the dole. We have run up trillions of dollars worth of debt paying millions of people more NOT to work than they were earning when they were working, and on top of it, mailing checks to people in the name of "stimulus." A lot of people whose skills would have them looking for the kinds of jobs you are talking about are indeed saying "no thanks." In a lot of cases will be financially worse off if they take the jobs, and the rest don't NEED the job enough to make the incremental money worth having to work.

You say you don't think that's the whole story. What is the explanation? People are choosing to starve rather than take jobs that are available? That isn't the reality of America.

As has been said over and over - they count on people being stupid or incurious.

How much do you calculate that unemployment insurance and the stimulus checks come to for a person who maxed out both over the past 12 months? And do it for the average person too.
