And that might have been the greatest drunk I have ever seen.

And, Jesus, Winslet. That final scene. Each week I don’t think you can act any better, and then you top yourself again.

 

Funny, I told my wife the same thing - “man that guy is a good drunk,”

 

I thought he actually was drunk when they filmed it.

 

Boygenius and mannequin pussy are real bands.

 

Crazy thought - only one murder gets solved this season.

 

I appreciate that they went to the Flock of Seagulls' hugely underrated cut for the aforementioned drunk scene...

 

Double post but moving to here:

Ep 3 of Mare of Easttown done. Not was fast-paced as the first two episodes but still really inviting IMHO (wife thought too slow.)

I immediately said Space Age Love Song and for some reason there was doubt in my household, no way, I'm all over 80's music pop trivia (my answering machine had a trivia Q each week for the callers)

 

The song before that was The Killers, which would have been his song. Space Age Love Song would be hers.

 

Never heard of this show before this post. Watched all three episodes today. Really good. Kate Winslet is great in this role and will be winning some awards.
