Road trips in the AL West would put them at a competitive disadvantage with the other two divisions. If Oakland moves it needs to be relocated in the Pacific time zone.

The NFL has its teams playing 37.5% of games vs. Division rivals and that’s fine with everyone. MLB is at 48%. I like your idea best.

I hate teams playing teams from the other league. Maybe if they kept it to 12 or 15 games total, it would be OK. As a Cardinals fan, I don’t need to see Seattle or Oakland or Tampa — unless it’s in the World Series.

    Now get off my lawn.

I was thinking of you when I saw Jeff Mathis at the plate during the Toronto/Atlanta series. He's hitting .000

Took my daughters, my son in law and my future son in law to the Nats game yesterday. My first social outing in 3 months and the first time I left the house in 4 weeks, except for the funeral, since my wife left the hospital for home hospice.
We were hooked up with a free suite and free parking. Sports did what sports does best, provide a fun distraction from everyday life. We had a great time. My wife and I went to Nats games 2-3 times a year for the last 10 years. We went to Orioles games before that. She has a drawer of team T-shirts and sweatshirts I bought her over the years. Looking through them was the first time I both cried and smiled at the same time, remembering the occasions and the games.
It was weird being in a crowd of only 8,000. Most games we went to in the past 10 years were weekend day games, and the crowds were always near capacity. But it was great to go to a game. Sad because my wife loved going to games with me, but yesterday being a family outing made it special. Sports was ever present in our lives. We watched football together every Sunday, she loved RedZone. Our girls were both multi-letter HS athletes and travel Lacrosse players and we never missed a home game, a tourney or playoffs. I went to games with my grandfather and father. I took my kids to games and they will take their kids to games. As much as family vacations, sports was part of our lives and some of our best times together. Without he business of sports and the political nature of everything, sports enhanced our family. For that I am grateful

THIS is what it’s all about, right here. The love of the game, the joy of the event. Thanks, @heyabbott, for sharing.

Fair warning, everyone's wearing camo caps all weekend. Tomorrow is Armed Forces Day, but more likely that New Era and MLB want to move some merch in Real 'Murica and they've been shamed enough for desecrating Memorial Day with this crap.
